Quiet Glide

Quiet Glide is our flagship library ladder system and the most advanced and precise ladder hardware system on the market.

This is the only system available that has hardware available that offers both a rolling ladder and non-rolling ladder option and is currently the only system that offers a braked wheel function

The Quiet Glide Library ladder system is available as individual components  or as a kit, making it the perfect hardware for unique custom projects.

Rolling Ladder Options:

Top Roller Hardware 
  • Classic Rolling -  Double top rolling wheels designed to fit onto the rail during assembly and is fixed permanently, offering more support and safety.​ Recommended if the ladder is only being used on a single rail location.
  • ​Rolling Hook - Single top rolling wheel designed to allow the ladder to be easily lifted on and off the rail. Ideal if there are multiple rails for the ladder to interchange between.​
  • Swivel Rolling - designed to fit onto the rail during assembly and is fixed permanently. The swivel on the top rollers enables the ladder to go around curved rails.
  • Bottom Wheels -Either the Classic Wheel or the  Contemporary Wheel are available with the rolling ladder options and both have the braking feature.

Non-Rolling Ladder Options

 Top Hardware
  • Single Hook - allows your ladder to be hooked where required then simply unhooked to move it about.  Can be used for multiple rails locations. Has the same technology as the rolling hardware to slide the ladder into an upright position when not in use.
  • ​Double Hook - allows your ladder to be hooked at the position required and then simply unhooked to move it about! The two hooks allow you to manually change between stored position and climbing position. ​
  • Stationary Kit -  This kit is designed to permanently attach your ladder to your wall/shelf. It is the perfect solution for areas such as lofts, bunk beds, high window seats and other areas that require the height of a ladder but don't need the hook or rolling function.
  • Bottom Hardware - Non skid feet are included with each of these options

Quiet Glide Ladders come un-assembled and unfinished ready for you to add your finishing touches with paint or stain!
Quiet Glide has 2 heights of stocked ladders, both standard width and wide width,  available in American Oak & Maple

E Glide

E Glide is our most basic and simple hardware option.

Ideal for simple projects that don't require customization or need and additional bells and whistles.

Comes as a complete kit with additional rails, brackets and end caps available if required.

 The E-Glide top hardware is a simple hook over fitting with a sliding mechanism to allow the ladder to be stored in an upright position when not in use.
Basic Rolling Wheel
The E-Glide bottom wheel is a stylish wheel that will fit with any décor.
